Profits Engine is a video course that promises to reveal a brand new system that leverages advance in technology to make $263.02 per day in passive profits with free traffic. Created by Guy Potok, this product is one of the many courses on free traffic generation.

I do not consider the Profits Engine a scam. However, I have some significant reservations against it. It is for these reasons that I write this review.

Before we get to the juicy part, let’s cover the fundamentals, shall we?

What is the Profits Engine?

According to Guy Potok, the Profits Engine is a complete money-making system which makes it easier than ever to get free traffic and hot leads without building an email list. This system allegedly makes you affiliate commissions day after day on autopilot. Interestingly, all this will be done exclusively using free traffic.

Furthermore, Profits Engine;

  • Is a brand new system you’ve never seen
  • Does not require email list or software
  • Can be started today using a little-known free traffic method
  • Is 100% newbie-friendly. You do not require any technical skills
  • Is a complete system for making money- nothing is left out
  • Creates a steady stream of passive income
  • Can be scaled up as big as you want

One striking thing is that nowhere in the copy was the actual name of the traffic source mentioned. I did some research as you can imagine.

Spoiler: The not-so-secret traffic source is Facebook. I will come back to this issue later in this review.

The rest of the copy is littered with screenshots of revenue generated using this method. I strongly advice you not to let him put you under pressure.

How much does Profits Engine Cost?

The Profits Engine costs a one-time payment of $12.95. I think $13 is a slightly fair price.

That’s not all though. As you can imagine, once you buy the cheap front end product, you enter their sales funnel. There, you will receive a total of five upsells and downsells. Their prices range from $27-$197. If you’re new to internet marketing, know that back-end products are always way more expensive than the front-end products. The psychology behind this is that someone who buys from you the first time will keep on buying until you stop selling. This is a powerful truth. Take note of this and use it to your advantage.

What is inside the Profits Engine?

    • How to take the Profits Engine method to $5,000 to $10,000 per month and beyond
    • Profits Engine ‘Fast Profits’ cheat sheet

Who is Guy Potok?

Guy Potok describes himself as an Israeli national who is a passionate email expert, Funnel builder and also expert in leads generating. He has achieved some success in affiliate marketing too. Apart from Profits Engine, Guy is also behind Piggback Profits. He also has a Youtube channel where he basically reviews Internet Marketing products.

Bottom line is, the author of Profits Engine is a real person who is qualified to give affiliate marketing advice.

Moving forward now, what are my reservations against the Profits Engine?

1. Dishonest Marketing.

You walk into a car dealership. The salesman tries to sell a ‘brand new whip you’ve never seen’ to you. This car does not run on gas or electricity. ‘Is this a Tesla, Mercedes, Audi or Jaguar you ask?’ Salesman: You will find out after you’ve paid for the car. Trust me, he continues, you will absolutely love this car. Yuck.

This is exactly what is going on here. The Profits Engine according to Guy Potok, is a complete system for getting free traffic. This traffic will supposedly help you make easy passive profits. It also does not require an email list or autoresponder. Unfortunately, nowhere in the sales copy was the traffic source mentioned. This, in my opinion is a major red flag. I explained why in my review of the 24h Commission Hustler. Read it here.

I get it. Human beings are curious. So, you play the secrecy card to drive more sales. To be clear, there is a thin line between leaving your leads guessing and intentionally withholding information that is helpful for making buying decisions. Not stating clearly what traffic source your course is about on the sales copy is similar to what the car salesman is trying to do.

This dishonesty positions the Profits Engine among other ‘shiny object’ products in the internet marketing niche.

2. Questionable Testimonials

The testimonials you find on the Profits Engine sales page look all good and fine until you take a look at the reviews on the Piggyback Profits sales page. Take a look below:

The testimonials are EXACTLY ONE AND THE SAME. Only the name of the products was edited. Red flag ALERT. I won’t say more than this. Tell me what you think in the comments section.

3. Email Marketing slander

Throughout the sales page, Guy Potok took jabs at email marketing. He cunningly tried to make it look as though email marketing doesn’t work. That slander cannot be tolerated here. You will never make money sustainably online without a functional email list that you engage with and sell to. Email marketing is a full-proof system. Results of the study conducted by the Direct Marketing Association and Demand Metric in 2016 indicate that Email Marketing had a median ROI of 122%! Any time you invest in building an Email List is time well spent.

Guy Potok understands this truth too. To prove it, he built a course where you use webinars to do what? Build an EMAIL LIST.

So, the backstory of the Profits Engine is either pure fiction or over-embellished truth. Do with this information as you wish.

Final Conclusion: Profits Engine is not a scam. However, for the reasons stated above, I do not recommend this product.
