The commission machine was designed to prey on the emotions of newbie internet marketers and leave them hanging eventually. Talk about a beautifully written deception. I decided to write this review for the sake of newbies (who seem to be the main target market for this product).
Without a doubt, the most popular lie in the internet marketing business is that making money online is easy. Nothing can be further from the truth.
Michael Cheney is quite popular in the Affiliate marketing industry. That is why the fact that his video course turns out to be ‘scammy’ is really disappointing to say the least.
The Commission Machine claims to make you earn up to $2642.60 per day by copying a ‘little-known’ super affiliate secret weapon. Michael went on to claim that this feat is achievable even if you’re a stone-cold newbie with no list, no clue and no money.

Background story of The Commission Machine
Michael told a short story of how he has made over $7 million since he started making a full living online about 11 years ago. According to him, the most frequent question he gets from infantile newbies is ‘what is the quickest and easiest way to make serious money online?’

So, who is Michael Cheney?
I already said that Michael is quite popular in the Affiliate marketing industry. I think he’s a badass copywriter. He has made a lot of money online too. You can clearly see that in his screenshots. He has some courses of his own like Commission Black-ops. However, if you are not ready to buy his upsells, you will not get value for your money. That’s why the commission machine for instance has a high return rate on JVzoo.
How Much Does It Cost?
The commission machine is the front end product priced at $47. If you buy it, know that there are upsells and one-time-offers waiting for you. These upsells will ‘help’ increase the amount you can make. Fishy.
Why is The Commission Machine a Scam?
The way Michael packaged the commission Machine, it is almost impossible to authoritatively call it a scam. I’m not surprised though, he knows the industry well. However, there are major red flags in the copy that lead me to conclude that it’s a scam.
Before you discover these red flags, let’s agree on a fundamental definition. What is a scam?

“a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; swindle” – Thesaurus

1. Ease is a Greater Threat to Progress than Hardship.
This a popular quote from Denzel Washington. It best describes the message I’m trying to pass across.
Like I already mentioned in the beginning of this review, the biggest lie told newbies in the internet marketing industry is that making money online is easy. I can’t emphasize this enough guys, do not fall for it. If you do, the only ker-ching sound you’ll hear is that of money leaving your wallet.
If making money online was as easy as copying and deploying a ‘system’ fast and easy, everyone would be doing it.
Mr. Cheney spared no effort in making the process seem far too easy. The reality sadly is that every step has a lot of sub-steps. Each one takes hours, to state it nicely.
If you desire to build a sustainable financial fortune online, you must roll up your sleeves and get to work.
2. Incomplete Information.
Remember the headline of the copy? ‘Earn up to $2642.6 per day… even if you’re a stone-cold newbie with no list, no clue and no money….’
Nowhere in the copy did Michael promise to teach the newbie how to set up the funnel, email autoresponder, hosting and other necessary ingredients for getting started.
So, you are a newbie. You learn the ‘cool’ stuff Mr. Cheney promises to teach you. It’s now time to get started. The only problem is that (in his own words) you have ‘no clue’. So, you’ll get stranded.
In summary, is the information in the commission machine enough to make you about $2642.6 per day? No chance!
3. No list, No Money
If you’re in affiliate marketing (or any form of marketing) for the long haul, you NEED an email list.
Email marketing is the most effective way of banking big moolah in the internet marketing business. Your email list simply represents your audience pulled into one space. People who subscribe to your email list literally grant you access to reach out to them directly.
Also, a lot of Email autoresponders out there have analytics. With this you can segment and retarget your audience as much as possible and maximize profit.
Without an active e-mail list, you’ll be leaving most of the money on the table.
Mr. Cheney forgot to tell you this!
4. Unconvincing Testimonials
92% of the testimonials featured in the copy were either stating how good the commission machine is or how great Michael Cheney is. None of this massive majority spoke about how much they’d actually made at the time the testimonials were written. What you make of this piece of information is entirely up to you. I bet Michael would’ve used better testimonials if real people have actually been making money applying his methods since 2016.
Final Conclusion: Do NOT buy The Commission Machine. You Will Not Get Value for Your Money.
